Policies
- As of September,2014, the monthly fee is $160, calculated at $40 for a forty-five minute lesson. Payment is required one month in advance, due at the first lesson of each month.
- Students are expected to pay for their reserved time unless twenty-four hours notice is given. This gives me an opportunity to fill vacancies from a list of students waiting for a reserved time.
- Cancelled lessons may be made up at the discretion and convenience of the studio, provided that sufficient cancellation notice was given.
- From time to time, professional performance engagements may force the studio to re-schedule or cancel lessons. If re-scheduling is not possible, credit for the lesson will be applied to the following month.
Areas of instruction
Includes tone production, technique, reading skills, study habits, general muscianship, music theory, literature suitable for the student and the instrument, selection and care of equipment, assistance with special concerns of students, and jazz improvisation if desired.
As with any endeavor, exposure to instruction does not guarantee success. It is up to the student to apply what he or she is learning in order to improve his or her skills and abilities

Practice Routine
A daily practice routine is essential for maintenance as well as continuing progress. As a general guideline:

Practice Routine
A daily practice routine is essential for maintenance as well as continuing progress. As a general guideline:
- 30 minutes to maintain the present level of achievement and make some progress.
- 45 minutes to an hour for noticeable improvement.
- 1-2 hours for serious accomplishment.
